Community
Led by Coolmore in cooperation with Temporis Investment Management, and supported by industry experts, we are delivering future-proof renewable energy.
We are a responsible developer, focused on protecting our local environment, biodiversity and history.
We have brought together leading experts, using best-in-class technology and research to ensure that our community benefits from this build.
We want to hear your views
We will be holding regular information and consultation clinics locally to talk through the development, hear your feedback and to answer any questions you may have.
The clinics will be hosted in the nearby Killough Castle, which though located on the farm, is not part of the proposed development.
Public Information and Consultation Clinics

Due to restricted space in the castle, it would help us if you let us know if you plan to attend. Please leave your name, and preferred date at [email protected], or call David Linnane, our Community Liaison Officer at 086 255 8111.
Community Liaison Officer
David Linnane is the Community Liaison Officer (CLO) for the development and is available to respond to queries and to attend information and consultation clinics.
Please reach out to David with any queries or questions you might have about Killough Solar.

Community Benefit Fund
Subject to planning and a successful outcome in a future Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS) auction, a Community Benefit Fund will be established, likely contributing in excess of €3 million over 16.5 years, with community participation key to deciding how best to invest this locally.
Local employment
Killough Solar is expected to support 80 to 100 jobs during the anticipated 18-month construction phase.
Priority will be given to local suppliers, where practicable.
